K.S.R. College of Engineering(Autonomous), Tiruchengode is an autonomous college affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. It was started under Aarthi Educational and Charitable Trust in the year 2001 by our Founder Dr. K. S. Rangasamy MJF., and currently, this institution is managed by the younger son of our Chairman, Thiru R. Srinivasan BBM., MISTE., who acts as the Chairman Cum Managing Trustee of this institution. The college is accredited by NAAC with A++ grade. The college offers Twelve B.E & B.Tech, Seven M.E & M.Tech programs along with M.C.A and MBA courses. The college also offers Seven Ph.D. programs in Engineering, Science, and Computer Application streams. All these courses are approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

The Department of Information Technology was established in 2001, offering undergraduate (B.Tech. IT) programs. In 2012, we introduced postgraduate (M.Tech. IT) programs, followed by the launch of our Ph.D. program in 2017, recognized as an Approved Research Centre under Anna University, Chennai - 600 025. With state-of-the-art laboratory and research facilities, our programs have received permanent affiliation from Anna University, Chennai. The department is dedicated to nurturing IT professionals with a solid foundation in core computing domains, advanced programming skills, and the ability to apply analytical thinking effectively

Our aim is to provide our students with lifelong learning and leadership skills that enable them to grow in their professions and advance to positions of responsibility through effective Industry-Institute Interaction. The Department has an excellent placement record and the placed students are in prestigious software industries all over the world.

Dr. Haza Nuzly Abdull Hamed

Associate Professor
Department of Applied Computing and Artificial Intelligence
Faculty of Computing and a founding member of the Applied Industrial Analytics Research Group (ALIAS)
Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM).

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology majoring in Artificial Intelligence from Universiti Utara Malaysia, a master’s degree in Computer Science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, and a PhD from Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand. Prior to joining UTM, he worked as a web application developer, information technology officer, and lecturer/assistant lecturer at various higher learning institutions.

His research interests include computational intelligence, evolutionary computation, optimization, machine learning, application development, and database design.
